We collect the personal information customers and donors give us, including name, address, phone number and email address. We do this so we can fulfil orders made through our website and to maintain records of donations made, which we are required to do by law.

How do you get my consent?
We presume consent in order to complete any transactions (orders) or keep a proper record of donations we receive. At the first point of contact you can opt into your preferred method of contact (if any). We will not contact you in relation to anything other than the initial transaction you made unless you have elected to receive mailings from us.

 

How do I withdraw my consent?
You may withdraw your consent for us to contact you at any time, by contacting us using the contact form on the gutsfbc.co.uk website, by telephone, post or mail.

 

Section 3: Disclosure

The data we keep will not be shared with any other parties apart from HMRC, to meet our legal obligations as a charity.

Your contact details are stored digitally on our secure fundraising database and paper copies are stored securely in our office.

 

Section 5: Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow best practice to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Records are kept for 8 years and destroyed using a reputable shredding company.

 

Section 6: Changes to this Privacy Policy

We will contact you if there are any changes to our privacy policy. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
