At different points, bowel cancer treatment can be uncomfortable, gruelling or just plain boring. Our boxes are intended to bring a bit of cheer, relaxation and comfort to patients, whilst arming them with a whole load of invaluable information about the road ahead.
Each box contains a copy of Dr Anisha Patel’s book, ‘Everything you hoped you’d never need to know about bowel cancer’, a puzzle book, a pen, lip salve, foot cream, moisturiser, some sweet treats, herbal teabags and some GUTS information leaflets. The approximate cost of the box and its contents is £35. If you want to give more, just add a donation to your trolley and if you wish to give an amount less than £35 towards the cost of a box, just make a donation of your chosen amount by following this link and add a note saying that you want it to go towards the cost of a box.
